Okay, let's meet at the Flynig J Truckstop near Blacksburg, SC at 6:30 am. That should get us there by 8am which is start of registration which ends at 9am. I'll have my cell.
Mailbox is empty now.
What exit is this place off from and how long to get to from North Charlotte?
Here is my number so give me a call to confirm: (704)301-5171.

I'm pretty sure it's exit 102 which is for Blacksburg and Rt 198. From North Charlotte on I85, say at I77 it should be around 45 minutes, but the way you cruise, maybe 30 minutes.
Let me clear this up a little. Using the intersection of I77 and I85 as a reference point to start from, it should be around 30-45 minutes south on I85 to Blacksburg or Rt 198 exit which I think is exit 102. The Flying J is right there off the exit.
I was getting worried about the forecast for a while. Now it looks better with only increasing clouds late in the afternoon, probably after it's over. 60 degrees will be nice. No rain until Monday.
I can just see Randy riding down with Jed. He'll look like Garfield stuck to the window with fear on his face.
well i am all loaded up and ready to start my journey in the morning, hopefully i'll see you guys sunday, too bad you are missing out on a full day saturday...
Looking for a final head count at the Flying J Sunday morning at 6:30am. We should plan on leaving there for Anderson NLT 6:45am.

If I make it I'll go there directly as Blacksburg is a backtrack for me... Not sure about getting up at 4AM on my only day off with a 50% chance of rain..

Tom, I know this is going to sound like last minute..but the weather looks like we might get rain as soon as 1pm on Sunday. Since it looks like it just might be you and I from our group lets confirm that we are 100% going after looking at the forecast at 5:30 am. I will call you by then...I just don't really want to drive 2.5 hours and not get one run in
Add me to the last minute list. I tried to catch up with yall at QSL. I saw yall about to get on 85 to Kannapolis. I worked through traffic went to Cannon Village, but never saw anybody. I parked on the main strip where all the other cars were. I was there about an hour. I talkd to the fella from Queen City that had the Zweyer wheels and fixed headlights at the Spring autonfair and another guy from Underground's site and left.
Weather is not going to be a problem. It won't begin raining, and it's only a possibility, until late Sunday night. I'll be at the Flying J waiting until 6:45.

I hope you guys have a great day... I'm sure I'll get to hear about it... Think I'll stay home and finish polishing this 68 so I can trade it for a ZR-1 someday and I won't have to bring the F body or an L98 to the next one..
It's 5:15am, Do you know where your Vette is? Mine is getting ready to blast on down to Anderson for some auto-Xing. Weather looks good, no rain until tonight or Monday morning.

It was great to see the RCG group today in Anderson SC, they sure have some very nice cars, and, they are learning to drive them the correct way, on the track.

Thanks Mike, It was great to see you. Here's a huge Thank you from all of us at RCG for setting this event up, you're the greatest. This is a disease. Too much fun, We all had more fun than a human is supposed to have. And thanks for the offer on the tires. Thinking back on it, I should have taken yo up on that.
