Sure was fun. At Mooresville Rick got me by a second. Now at Anderson by a half second. We will tie at the next event
If Dash doesn't start coming back to the track, he might be in forth place!!!
Hey Rick, you might want to watch Monday Nigt Raw tomorrow. It's in Charlotte and I have GOOD seats. You might just see your name on a sign

You don't get points for not showing up, so the way I see it, Dash is in 4th place. We are talking about the yearly championship here.
BTW, Brett, nice driving and that 383 LT1 in your 88 ran like you had rails on your runs. Nice meeting you and talking about your Vette. You can hang with us anytime.
RCG, Thanks for the nice words but I had nothing to do with this event, the work was done by Tim Butler and the Carolina Corvette Club folks, I was there to support SHE-THAT-SHALL-BE-OBEYED while she ran, plus working timing I had the best seat in the house.
I will keep you guys posted on upcoming events, we need to get you guys into NCCC, then you will have a better understanding of the rules and what mods you can do.

I think if we joined the NCCC, we'd all have to put roll bars and cages in our Vettes. I think we'll probably stay with the X class. We just race for the fun of it and braggin rights within or club. But I would like to see the rules and limitations. BTW, if anyone else wants to join in our friendly little competitive group, come join us. Somebody has to quiet Jed and Rick down, I don't have the horsepower or the money.
Just can't use the hp I have except on the dragstrip or barren highway runs. It would be nice to do the high speed autox because it's usually on a real racetrack and you can push the car without fear of gravels, etc with parking lots and airports.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
