I bought the switch before you told me that it failed to solve your grandsons issue.
I bit the cost of having the broken switch installed after assuming it was 100 percent functional. Why would you sell a broken part for 150 dollars? I think you did not know it was faulty and just assumed it wasn’t. How could have I known it was a broken part?
Why did this have to be a game of chance?
Read post 22. I’m done here.
I just wanted to hear my friends opinions.
I informed him immediately that the part he sent me was Faulty. He said no rush in returning it, after the Holidays. As per email.
Well Passover is still viable…and that is a Holiday. Ha!
But yeah, as per the emails there did not seem to be any sense of immediacy on either of our parts as he knew I intended to return it, agreed to it and no further emails were exchanged from either party.
In my opinion, after reading all the exchanges, you abused the privilege of "no rush".
Also my opinion, your snarky comments are neither endearing nor helpful to your cause.

In my opinion you are incorrect. I am not trying to convince anyone of anything.
He sold me a broken part, agreed to a refund, I get back to civilization and now here we are.
it is what it is. Society has lost its way and I do not expect much from anyone these days, especially the aging population. They pretty much have checked out on life, morality and integrity.
We did not just inherit this society, the slow rolling happened as our elders failed us and failed to stand up for anything and now everyone suffers.
Community and doing what is right has been dead for a long time.
Actually, after reading it again and removing the posted emails with the personal addresses, all I’m seeing in this back and forth is snark and the potential for someone to talk themselves into time off. Regardless of the clear factual disagreement about whether the electrical part was offered with no guarantee and no returns, the seller seems as though he’s agreed to make a refund, so there’s nothing else to debate.
I’ll close the thread here and if there’s a difference in the disposition of the dispute, either of the participants can inform me and Ill add it to the thread.
It appears I was mistaken about the status of this dispute. This dispute has not been settled. The seller has not decided to issue a refund yet, so I will leave this thread open to updates and factual posts, not hostility, for the time being.
Sheesh!! 47 posts on a (maybe) defective switch? Just get your heads together and come to a resolution instead of he said/she said BS. Life is too short and you're both members...
