Plenty of room! Everything is all torqued so I can put the front end on the ground and pull the engine/tranny this week.

Wheel at ride height fits well. I thought the Wilwood brake kit would add 3/4” to each wheel, but no it is in almost the exact same place as the drums.

I cycled the wheel from lock to lock and bumpstop to bumpstop to check for interference. I need about 1/4” at the rear edge of the wheel well which is currently unfinished and will be an easy blend.

Anyone know if this is what is meant by the N11 off-road exhaust option? This car came with that option originally. I’ve now removed the entire exhaust (not original) in preparation for pulling the engine and tranny later this week.

All that is left in the rear is to set pinion angle and bleed the brakes.

Can’t wait to see this at ride height. It is hanging by the coiliver which doesn’t allow it drop to the point that the ujoints bind. Nice feature!

Perfect fit on the front (I will have to trim the front and rear bottom of the wheel wells for steering clearance).

Once the engine is out, the front is going back up so I can paint the center of the chassis, replace the body mounts and run the fuel lines. Always something. In about a month it will be on four feet.

I will have to trim and reshape the lower front and rear openings for the front wheels to have enough clearance for steering. Kind of important.

I think the rear will fit nicely also once on the ground. Unfortunately, that won’t happen for about a month.

There is about 4 1/2” between the tire and the rear wheel well edge. At ride height the wheel actually only moves back 1/2” which results in 4”.
