Holley 3367 on R66 - note the indexing nibs at the front which won't let the base set down on the Edelbrock.

I drilled and tapped the 3/8” bar for ¼”x20 tpi all thread with the spacing matching the original holes in the deck lid front flange. Had to ream the holes in the fiberglass our about 1/32”.

Added a 7/16”x7/8”x28” thin steel (approx. 24 ga.) rectangular tube spacer behind a 3/8”x1”x 43” long aluminum bar to attach the hinge to.

Had to put individual shims at each end of the 3/8” aluminum bar as the deck lid curves in to keep the hinge mounting surface straight.

Trimmed the .093 polycarbonate sheet to 43” long and 14” high after determining I needed 10”-12” above the deck lid. She used to be 5’-7” don’t know what now, no guts to ask.
Bent the top of the polycarbonate sheet to provide stiffening and eliminate the need for a metal frame. Had to make a second bend due to problems. Bent each end with a 1” flange and then added a 2”wide additional polycarbonate stiffener to each side. Trying to not use metal exposed to view.

Put a 7/16”x7/8”x 43” long thin steel rectangular tube on the back side of the deck lid flange to spread the load by clamping the fiberglass between the assemblies.
Pop riveted a 1”x1”x1/16” x 43” long aluminum hinge to the 3/8” aluminum bar. The hinge sticks down approx. 1/8” below the 1” aluminum bar. The goal was to fold the wind screen under the deck lid when not in use. Forrest would have been smarter than to forget about the release handle, stupid is as stupid does.

It can fold down to the front of the wheel wells but must be lifted up to go further up.

Going to support it with two 3/8" round aluminum rods (have to go to town) and a latch system to hold it vertical with the top up.

I cut the top corners to clear the bow at the top of the window. Probably could have used a little more clearance.

Hope it works, I moved the braces to eliminate the struts to the rear top pin latches. I can put the top up without taking the windscreen down. Just takes a bit of guidance with the pads on the top.

Folded back, I forgot to try it with the top down also. I think it will work. Braces can be used to hold it up a bit more.

Here is a rough plan of the fabrication. The brackets for the hinges bolt to the birdcage where there are two existing 5/16" holes
