Callaway SC757 Corvette Z06 Performance Package Is a Beast

When is a newly-purchased car just fine as is? Any real gearhead or car enthusiast is going to want to add a personal touch. Sometimes those upgrades are cosmetic, and other times it could be a full-blown performance package. If you’re a Corvette Z06 owner and you’re looking for that latter upgrade, go talk to the fellas over at Callaway Cars.

The magical engineers at Callaway upped the stock Z06’s 6.2-liter V8 behemoth from 650 hp to 757 hp. And they increased its torque output to 777 lb-ft from 650. And so they dub this performance Corvette Z06 the SC757.

These power increases translate to a 0-62 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 10.5 seconds.

The SC757 package costs $17,995, with options like a sport exhaust and short-throw shifter adding to that total. Depending on what you start out with — a new or used Z06 — you could end up below $90,000 in your special Z06, or well north of $100,000. Not cheap. But is it worth it?
