West Coast Customs amped up C8 Corvette with race inspired style and a stunning gilded finish.

Looking at this C8 Corvette you might think it belonged to a celebrity, athlete, influencer. It is not interested in subtlety. And that’s good, because the C8 Corvette can’t really pull off understated, either. A match made in heaven.

But you may be surprised to learn that the shimmering Chevy Corvette in question belongs to a flow control company specializing in pipes and valves. Nibco was looking to promote their new line of Push Systems Wrot Racer copper fittings. The resulting Corvette is a special ride for this week’s Torque Tuesday.

West Coast Customs worked with Nibco to create a promotional vehicle that would get attention. The C8 Corvette was built to do just that. The team at West Coast worked with Nibco to turn this dream into a reality.

Conceptually, WCC would emphasize and hone the C8’s already strong visual assets and overall attitude. And then they would inject some liquid metal. Audacious aero elements and carbon fiber boost its track spirit.

“The C8 Corvette has an aggressive styling on the exterior, and wrapping it in Copper Chrome gave it that BOLDer look,” they said.

Next, West Coast Customs essentially created a race livery for Nibco. It ties together the company in an organic way. Plus the Copper Chrome wrap just makes it all the more appealing. Great details in the livery add style and humor to the aptly named “Wrot Racer Corvette.” On the hood and door is the #29. Obviously not a racing number, but it is the number for copper in the Periodic Table of Elements. Very cool touch. As is the GT Wing with the company name on it.

Another great detail is how the Copper Chrome extends to the interior. Black with copper is such a sharp combo when done right. And this is so right.

Some will consider this over the top, and that is exactly what it should be. Nibco drives this to various locations to promote their products–and we imagine it has to be really effective.

OK, we’re calling it: This is officially the sexiest plumbing vehicle ever. Your move, Roto-Rooter.

If you’d like to see more of the Corvette, check out the clip below. Yes, it is a … different approach for a video, but look at the car–we’d be giddy, too.
