Here is your half-mile drag race for the week. Pure American muscle vs the pinnacle of American performance. Watch as the SRT Challenger Hellcat battles the Corvette C7 Z06.

Both cars look to get off the line a bit slowly, but about a second later, all the ponies kick in. The two get up to speed, but it’s the Z06 that beats out the Hellcat by a full second. The Z06 hits the trap at 147 mph, and the Hellcat, 145 mph.
