The final year of the C3 included a lot of changes that carried over to the C4. The small-block 350 received fuel injection. Coupled with the new 700-R4 overdrive transmission, fuel economy and emissions improved. The C3 also got a sendoff with the champagne colored Collector’s Edition. It featured unique aluminum wheels and bronze/brown trim. And for the first time the Corvette sported a liftback rear glass window for easier cargo access.
