I was hoping the talented people here would help because they like doing what they are doing. I myself have contributed by posting the GM Service Manual download for the last 2 years. 1998-2005 Service Manual Download I like supporting the Corvette community.

This thread is pretty interesting. I have the GM Nav unit and this weekend I'm going to see if I can replace the startup splash screen (corvette logo) with one of these screens and burn a DVD+R DL with the splash screen. I do believe the NAV DVD has a standard file system readable by Windows, so I am hoping that there is a file with a picture in a readable format. It sure would be easier if I could put the pics on a USB stick like you lucky guys

I'll let you guys know if it is possible.

OK, I got the start up screen changed to work on my Kenwwod 6140. My next question is, can you also do a background screen as well? If so, what is the procedure/installation process? Thanks in advance!
