Suggestion for a Headunit from DD Mods

i think you'll like it. few things to keep in mind. you want to zero the deck out when you get it since it's used. under quick volume i'd set the sub to 7 when you set your gain voltage this way if you want to bump the bottom end you can click it to 8 afterword and also use the parametric. everything else is straight forward. personally i never use media expander or bass engine with alpine

I won a ebay auction for a Alpine iLX-207.
I could not find anyone locally that had one, since it is so new, so I could not try it out first.
Retail is $900.
Highlights include:

Most head units would probably get washed out. Your best bet would be to get a head unit with a capacitive touch screen and maybe screen tilt, but then that would raise your price point considerably.

I have an android Capacitive one now.. too much glare.. I will see how the unit I have works out..

Phone Works - Check
Maps works - Check

Unit looks good. I got a Eric Church CD ( in unit), got a RP4-GMxx PAC Interface ( going on eBay) a Stinger Ground Isolator.. PAC TR4 for the Brake bypass I think
Trimmed my modded Radio bezel for it, I just need to do some MEK Fill and sand and paint it

They work for a mini bench set-up. I need a small amp to power a set of 2-ways I have then I can have a nice little audio bench.. my power supply is good for 30A..

You know.. I could tell a difference in headunits from the android, nak and Alpine, with those altecs!!!

there are services that do all of this and do it well. guys often rebuild the older adcom home amps for the same reason. they are cheap and with a refresh outperform anything at that price point
