Gah...I know...right. I'm very tempted to ask Mauricio to make it a gucci, flashy, leather wrapped pristine box. But it just won't go with the rest of the theme of the car.
I wish I had this level of skill though. Some of the demo boxes and stuff he has are incredible.
It's weird sometimes. If I say what I did to get banned, I could get banned for "moderator or site bashing." In fact, I run the risk of being banned for even mentioning that I could get banned for explaining why I got banned. Ironically, there is no rule addressing "moderator or site bashing" on the rules page though. Rules So honestly, it just is what it is.
Now, nothing I just said is mod / site bashing or negative in any way...but if you don't hear back from me for a few days, that will be why.
Nice clean cuts/edges, surprised you didn't go with mitered corners (not that I have the right tools for that myself). Is that a decision made for access? Primed it looks super clean anyway, you can't see a seem anywhere.

More progress. First primer coat sanded and the remaining blemishes or uneven spots corrected. One more coat of primer and she's ready for some color. I appreciate the patience y'all. These things take time...rest assured, I'm SOOO eager to get this thing in there and ripping. I did want to ask the community, are there any metrics or before and after measurements any of you are interested in me collecting? I of course will have some tuning overlays and before and after curves and what not. I was also going to measure dB output before and after. The "book" says I should have at least 6 dB more output than before. I have a feeling it will be much more than that. But what say you? What would you like to see or know?
