Are you guys in the Midwest really getting hit that hard to justify the lockdown? Here in CO the tracks are open again and we can go play if we wear a mask and distance ourselves. I'll say our lockdown was way less intense than MI's and our medical system has yet to be even remotely close to overwhelmed.

I guess it depends on who you ask. Chicago and the surrounding suburbs represents like 80+% of the cases for Illinois. Downstate Illinois has started to reopen against Governor's orders.

In Illinois, our current rate of infection spread is right around 1 (meaning we are at the top of the peak) but are still experiencing roughly 100-180 deaths a day as a result of the infection.

This last Friday was a good time, it was nice chatting with you. By chance were you at Lime Rock with NASA last July? Also, how do you like the pedals? They seem like a nice addition.

There are a number of tracks that you can rent during the week for that price or very close to it (the $4K)...

I was wondering how Road America events are doing. I would like to sign up for some this summer.

I checked the Road America page and it states all other scheduled events are happening.

"Regarding our schedule: For now, we have postponed our Spring Vintage Festival Featuring SVRA – May 15-17 due to COVID-19 and we are hosting the MotoAmerica Superbike Series event (without fans) on May 29-31. An additional MotoAmerica Superbike Weekend has been added to the schedule on June 26-28 which includes all professional classes and the Vintage MotoFest activities. Fans who have tickets and previously purchased items (camping, golf carts, etc.) for the MotoAmerica weekend in May can use their tickets and items in June. Aside from the recent changes, all other regular-season events remain as scheduled."

Reviving this thread.

First track weekend of 2021. Heading to Palmer Motorsports Park April 10th with Masstuning and April 11th with S2Ktakeover. Never been there and on the 10th they’ll be running the course clockwise and on the 11th they’ll run counterclockwise. It’ll be like going to two different tracks in a weekend

how did your event go? my first event right now is penciled in for apr 28th when i'm going to hit a TNIA event at blackhawk farms. i discovered a power steering leak on my car that I have to fix first and then prep the car (replace all the fluids, brake pads, etc.) but am hopeful that it'll be done to get it on track for the 28th.
