WOW! Am I the only pop guy here? I sell Pepsi... have been doing it for over 40 years. I can't get you out of trouble, put out a fire, or program a computer, but if you need refreshments (non-alcoholic), call me... they're on me!

College Athletics for 22 years! Currently, Associate Athletics Director at Virginia Tech, beginning my 15th football season. I am new to Corvettes and new to this board. I am trying to learn as much as I can before I make my first purchase. I am interested in the C1s (1961 in particular) but am getting more and more interested in the C2s.

Good to have a new Hokie. I'm a Nittany Lion but I grew up in Blacksburg on Progress Street and my Dad was a professor at Tech for 16 or 17 years.
Well compared to all you other guys , I am almost reluctant to share.
I guess there not much exciting about swooping over the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western NC at 140 knots....zooming in on a dark tree lined LZ ( landing zone). Picking up a trauma patient and flying back to a level I trauma center preforming aggresive intervention on the way.
I am retired from all that am full time Director of a ministry that provided Ambulances, medical supplies and trainig to mostly Third World Countries with out charge.
Life is wonderful and exciting, especially cruising in my 63 vert.
Blessings

I'm retired after 32+ years with the local sheriff's department. One of my jobs there was flying law enforcement helicopters (search&rescue, chasing bad guys, etc). I currently teach at community college and for the state. I'm also a volunteer aircrew for the Collings Foundation which operates a fleet of vintage aircraft including a B17, B24, and B25.
Worked in an automotive machine shop in NJ for 15 years. Then decided I wanted to eat on a regular basis and joined the U.S. Border Patrol in 1982. Became a firearms instructor for Uncle Sam in 1988 and finished my government career on the FBI Joint Terrorism Task force and retired in 2004. Decided to go back to work at a local NAPA in 2006. Still there three days a week.
