Mark, the dyno results were just shy of 370HP to the rear wheels. I've had it up to 72mph at 1900rpm's in 5th gear - the T5 is really sweet!
I mentioned early on that I would log my hours... total to date is 1663 hours for everything you see posted on my thread. I just have a few fiberglass repairs to make on the spare tire tub as well as adjust/tighten the main window crank handle clips. Not bad as I know I had close to 2000 hours on my Dad's truck.
Still amazes me that it actually runs and drives without any major conflicts between all the different parts/components that went into the build. Considering...
1967 Body
1975 frame, front/rear suspensions
1995 Corvette LT1 Engine/ECM with shorty headers
1991 Camaro T5 on modified mount/removable trans crossmember
1983 Camaro bellhousing with modified z-bar
Aftermarket power rack/pinion steering
Electrical - stock '67 harnesses except '95 engine harness
Aftermarket headlight and washer pump/wiper motors/harnesses
Aftermarket A/C system and harness
1989 Fiero seats
Go figure...
Here's a pic of it the day I bought it, May 2011 and last week.
Pinch me...
My wife wants to set up a photo shoot sometime soon (if I can stop driving it long enough), I'll post pics when available...

Gears
The '75 donor frame/suspension had 3.08 gears which I didn't plan on changing but the power band on the '95 LT1 is higher. I also ended up finding out that the original gears were a bit worn, so I swapped them out for 3.55's - so glad I did!! And yes, you're correct on the ration for 5th on the T5 - 70mph at 1900rpm is fab!
The Fiero seats are definitely the way to go if you're not a purist, so much more comfortable than stock, and because they are a bit thinner they allow a bit more leg room.

370 at the rear tire is big for an LT-1, I think those were factory stock at 310 at the flywheel. I built one for a 95 Z28 for my son, we stayed bone stock but it had really nice power all the way to 6,000 and he was able to get 24-27 MPG on the highway. It was also super responsive.

ooops
Sorry Westlotorn, that should be 270hp at the rear wheels! They estimated 310hp at the flywheel, got the numbers transposed in my brain - DOH!

LT1 coolant quirks
As of last night's drive, I now have 465 miles on her. Have been having a coolant issue - couldn't get the air out of the system and it would start to run hot after a couple of drives... I burped it and filled in different ways then ran across a thread that mentioned the collet that connects the cam to the water pump gets worn out - drained the system, pulled the pump - collet is fine. After lots of head scratching, finally realized that one of the heater hoses was routed incorrectly and creating back flow towards the surge/overflow tank which in turn was spewing a small amount of coolant out of the cap as I drove. Thought the cap was faulty but was the hose routing. Switched the hose routing, burped the system and have been cooling wonderfully for the past 100 miles!!!

The issue we bumped into on the 95 LT1 was a leaking water pump, leaked down onto the opti spark and caused random misfires that blew a head gasket. I hear newer opti's are better protected.
The cooling system on the LT1 is unique, most avoid that engine foe swaps because the reverse cool system was not well understood. They are strong runners glad you are fixed!

cupholder decision made
Morning Y'all!! The Vette is at the shop getting the A/C charged and also had dropped the #6 cylinder at about 500 miles. Culprit was an injector. While it's getting fixed, I decided to take the passenger seat out to make it easier to get at the A/C box for the shop. I'm going to put the cupholder onto a bracket on the front lower part of the seat which I can easily reach. It's a German made flip down cupholder that gets great reviews. It'll be low enough so the passenger's leg goes over it when closed and centered enough to access b/w their knees and still access the seat adjuster. Fabbed the bracket out of unistrut and 1/8" plate. I'll get the welds ground smooth, painted black and post pics of it in the car soon.

cupholder
Nightshift, They're made in Germany by Fischer Automotive Systems. I got mine through Ultimate Cupholders. Very solid, no doubt would hold one of those big stainless drink cups. I probably made the bracket a bit overkill but didn't want it vibrating or bouncing the drink...

Hey Rhett thanks for the info. Until you showed this one, I was planning to get a couple of these folding stainless steel ones. They are pretty cheap at about $15 ea. Cheers, Bill

cupholder complete and garage clean!!
Finally got the cupholder and passenger seat installed - works great! Also spent Saturday detailing the car, motorcycle and cleaned up all my garage messes. Sunday I celebrated by driving the car and the bike all afternoon!

Pic reloads...
Well, since Photobucket now needs even more $$ to make it and I'm not paying their extortion fees... I have just finished reloading all my thread pics. Let me know if there are any that don't show correctly.
