"AHHHH" Nothin' like catchin' bass on a sunny day, with the right boat, good friends, and 2- 12 packs of bud light. Life does NOT get any better than that!!

Congrats on 40 years!

My wife and I just passed 21 years...our first anniv was celebrated at Marine Corps Base 29 Palms CA. High school sweethearts, she was 18 and had just graduated high school, I was 21. We had dated since she was 14 ...I have two girls now, one 16 and the other 11.

Here is picture of our first family outing in both vettes...she drives the Z when both cars are out...pretty damn good I might add

We use either a rental boat or our Kayaks now..had to sell the bass boat to make room for the "Ninga" vette..
Funny...don't miss the fish graphs...we read the shore, wind and watch the birds for catchin bass.....
....now if I could just break my fishin partner from spearing fish...

Congratulations! The Wife and I just had a 31st. Marriage has always been a compromise in many ways. I get a new interior for the Corvette, she gets hardwood floors. I get a paintjob, she gets a new kitchen. I get a new driveway, she gets a patio. The list is very long....

yeah I love the car! I'm getting it out every chance I get! Need to do a few minor things but noting to major. Small PS leak and I think the 4:11 gear has to go. I have the 3:55 that came in it so I think with me living in the sticks and lots of highway speed travel, i'm gonna see it if I like the 3:55 better. That 4:11 is fun to run thru the gears in though...

You were like me..running the wheels off a C3 with a bunch of C5's/C6's.... Good luck with the 98.....I may get a 5 speed for the 69 next year...wife tapped me out this year on $$$ for her hobby...
Yuma sounds good....I'll be in touch...
All the best...

I'm running 3.70's in both mine...once drove the 78 on a cross-country road trip..not bad at all....where I live, these gears are great for the mountain two lane twisties...think you will like the 3.55's much better for your driving..
I once had 4.11's in a 57 chev truck 327/350 HP(Corvette engine)...it screamed at 60...

Anniv joke:
A husband found himself in big trouble when he forgot his wedding
anniversary.
His wife angrily told him, "Tomorrow there better be something for me in
the driveway that goes from zero to 160 in five seconds flat."

The next morning, the wife found a small package in the driveway. She opened it
and found a brand new bathroom scale.

Visiting hours for the husband at the hospital are limited due to the

extent of the injuries.
