My wife would never do that, but if she ever did knowing how much it ment to me then she needs to go That would be a selfish act on her part.
It's just a car, not as if it's a crack habit. Bills are paid and there's food on the table
i made sure my SO knew up FRONT that the vette was there before she was, so she better not ever dreeeam of asking me to get rid of MY car. If she asks you to get rid of your vette figure out what the most valuable thing to her is and tell her to ditch it ;p
My wife is not replaceable! I found a true one of a kind! there is always another vette you can find.
I think vet76te said it all, My wife can not rap her head around why I want an old car without all the creature comforts...Air..PS..PB.. That costs as much as a new Mustang Gt with all the goodies... She doesn't get it. but she wants me to be happy and supports me in it! she will never get excited and probably complain about it from time to time. But she knows its important to me and as long as I don't put the vette before my family or marriage and use it as a toy to enjoy in my free time I thinks she is 100% cool with that! Better than be out at bars drinking....
i think you missed the point here... i would think you would just make her madder selling the one you have a buying another one

My wife is pretty good about my Vette. She knows I've always wanted one and now that I have one, I'm not gonna give it up easily. Her only stipulation is to not spend too much on it!

Hehehe, we're in Saudi Arabia where women aren't ALLOWED to drive! When we eventually finish here and go back to Oz with my (our?) Vette, she STILL can't drive it as she doesn't know how to drive!!!

A few years ago I was engaged to a Gal who told me my race car was too expensive. I sold the ring and used the money for a new set of CCW wheels. I've had my Vette since 1992, it is now the longest relationship I've ever had.

My wife of 30 years would never say something like that. She encourages me to have and spend whatever I want on the cars and fishing. She trusts me to do the right thing.
I have the best gal any guy could want. She's pretty, smart, hard-working and takes very good care of me and our home.
Corvettes are only things.
The most important things in life should never be things......
