Not to mention having that sub aiming at your ear won't do much for bass. Sure it may sound okay like that but without a sounding surface in front of that sub it's efficiency is all but cut in half.
Mine looks most like this one. It's a .70 cubic foot box with an old 10w6 I had. It sounds good, but takes up too much room. The box is only 6" thick, but that's enough to prevent the tops from fitting. It's also 12" tall, which meant I had to take the window tray out, so that doesn't fit either. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet, but this is a little too intrusive.
here are 3 12"s and the t tops slide over the top for storage
Hi Dewscutom, do you have any otherr shots of this setup, also witht the tops in....I would love to get an all sides look or better yet even building pictures if you have them.
From: 90% of all Fords are still on the road.....the other 10% actually made it home!

Anyway, I'll soon be running the same system I just took out of the '98. It's a High Current "MA audio" Competition Series Amp, and a pair of 12" Pioneer Premier Subs. I know the amp will fit perfectly across the back wall, and if I decide to go ahead and run this box, it WILL actually fit. I just won't have any room for my T-tops.
Obviously I'd like to come up with something smaller that would accomodate these subs,...the only problem is, I need about 1.25 cu ft of air space per sub. I guess I could always just leave the tops in the garage since I don't do much out of town driving in this one. (For obvious reasons)
