Have you tried other forums with your need for the Firestone 500 tire? It would seem that after nearly 4 weeks of raising this thread to the top, you may have exhausted all of the Corvette Forum sources.

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but I didn't see any mention.
By NOS, do you mean NEW....like really new.....or a very nice used spare that hasn't been on the ground but a few thousand miles? I do not know of a true NOS, but I think my 74 has the original spare hanging under there. I just do not remember which Firestone it was. I am fairly certain that mine is as you describe. It definitely does not "say" 500. I am out of town, but can check this coming weekend. If in good enough condition, would that suit the bill? Also, what are you looking to spend? You may PM me if you prefer.

...there are several, if not half a dozen or so sets of these tires for sale every Corvettes @ Carlisle I go to. But, it seems as they are never cheap either. Saw an NOS set of five Firestone 500 Blackwalls a year or two ago for $2500.
