really none of my business...but am just getting ready to put my body back on the frame of my corvette - i cant help but wonder why in the world you would finish the engine compartment, finish the interior - and then do the messy body work....
wouldnt it be better to do all the body work on the car....paint it..then lift it off the frame?....(this is how i did it) ... then when you are finished with frame and engine (and as much as you can finishe on the car body) you can lower your nicely painted (finished) body onto a finished frame/engine assembly and all you have left is the interior and misc.....but nothing messy!
i cant imagine how much time goes into taping and covering your (finished) stuff to keep it from getting messy (which...i cant see how youre ever going to get it clean again)????

That was due to a planning error on my part...but it's all good and I'm sure that with Kevins Eye for detail I will probably get it back cleaner than when he picked it up.
I like jacks too! we have 2 Bonnie&Clyde (they fit the names!!)
clyde just turned 2 and when i get home from work he jumps straight up to my eye level to say hi!!glad your home!!can we play!!! huh huh??

Hey did your Bud snap any pics yet? I know you are busy(I saw that beautiful frame) Tell him that I need pics so bad, I will send him MY camera!!!
Ahhh, the mud work begins. That's the fun part for me. Getting it all straight. It looks like someone took a grinder to that car at some point in its past. Lots -O- gouges.

You see that so often on these cars that were done previously. I wonder what these people were thinking when they were grinding away.
Now... I did some sanding on that body and yes I had a vew OOOPS! But I also know that there were swirl marks with paint IN them when I stopped So HA! I ain't takin the blame!!!
Sly.....got your headers, and side pipes today!!!!very nice!I will have Tim start pulling the exhaust, and I will start glassing the rear now since I have the pieces in hand.

By the way the pipes came from forum member Corz....A fine transaction with a true gentelman!
They are in good shape,Sly.Not new,or perfect, but better than driver quality. They will really set your baby off!
