It might be a good idea to end this thread and post a new one now that there is date set in place..

corvette744 would you like to start the new post with the dates since you got all of this started. Just so we are all clear we are doing it on May 31st with June 7th as our rain date?

Put up a new thread with details for sign-up. I would post the thread in Great Lakes and then post a new thread here with the link.

Unless this is a C3 only thing? In which case I would do the reverse.

Yo! 14 blocks North of Wrigely Field and I've got a buddy with a C-5 down here too if you want to include him too. He'd be hanging out in the C-5 section or looking for a '61 in that section.

Of course, I got to get my brakes done so this weekend I couldn't (unless I rode with above friend) but next weekend on out for the rest of the summer I'm in.

Count me in! (save the above)

How about one of you guys do it for me-im a little lost at the internet technical posting link thing.I think we should open it to all vetts.I hate when cruises or car shows are for only a certain year class IE 70-80 f that let them all come.If chevy never built the c1 then their wouldnt of been a c2,c3,c4,c5,c6.Its the car that started and still is american performance. We just need to get a spot their -can anyone help with this-im sure we are gonna need lots of room.I think the count is up to around 30+ now maybe more.If you put it on the other sites and let all vetts come watch out. What do you guys think.c3's or all vetts.........

I'll post it in Great Lakes and link it to this thread if someone can get the final details.

Obviously, 5/24 - Starved Rock State Park

Any particular time? I would think early afternoon, like 1 PM?

Where in the park?

I vote all can come. No reason to be exclusive - especially this early in the year when everyone is looking for an excuse to get out.

If we wanted to do an all C3 thing, let's splinter off once in awhile more in the middle driving season and bring it back together at the end.

Looking forward to it.

Well guys im working on getting a permit with the office at starved rock.Lots of problems so far as to number of people attending-limited space on weekends i was told.Past problems with car clubs with loud engines and racing around with kids everywere-not good.No alcohol allowed-i can live with that. The dnr and park police seem like thier very touchy on such an event.I told them 60 cars and they seem to frown on that i think more like 100 or more maybe. They seem to be more interested in if we are going hiking or not.So im working on it it anyone has any experience or nows someone thier i need a little help.
