There really is no good option. No other flares are going to have the right wheel opening radius to go with the rears. I am hoping we can talk Stan into at least making a set or two of fronts for those of us who already have the rears.

I think that he might eventually make them, the question is how long can you wait. It really isn't worth his time to take one of his skilled workers off of the line to make flares when he is as busy as he is.

Oh, I fully appreciate that and as long as I could have them by sometime in October it would be fine. Hopefully he will make some.

At this point we will only make a set of fronts for the guys that only have rears and are stuck with out fronts.

Unfortunately for us to make them and be able to make it worth our while, they would have to be pretty expensive.

The demand is not high enough for me to try and find an outside source to make them for less than it costs me at this time, if that is possible at all.

As a result we will only make a full set if someone has us install them on their car as well, basicaly as part of a restoration.

And Josh and I genuinely appreciate you making us fronts, I know I was really in a bad situation. My new wheels and tires will be here in 3 weeks and I am itching (pun intended) to install the flares.

My new wheels will be here in 3 weeks too!

I checked with my dad and he isn't coming back to do body work on my car for at least a month. I thought that I was going to have to go without front flares because of the time frame but now it looks like I will have some time.

My wheels arrived today, are you getting close to being able to make the front flares, Stan? I really appreciate it and I know Josh does as well.

Sad thing is, I am so busy right now I haven't even had time to put them on, just unwrapped one of the rears and set it on the washing machine to irritate the wife.

Thanks to all who have been patient and waited all this time.

These will be made on a special order basis, and shipping time will be about a week from when payment is received.

Due to the recent increase in the price of materials, the price for the flares will be $725 a set plus shipping. I apologize for that, but there is nothing we can do.

If you need a set , contact me asap. First come , first served.

Set = 4, pair = 2? or ?
Are you making these or not? I tried to follow the thread but am to old and senile to understand what you will make and what you won't and how much for what.
Please just list what you will make and the price, thanks.

Stan must be really busy because neither of us have heard from him in a few months.

Stan was selling his custom made flares. But now he is only selling them to customers that use his shop for a restoration or at the very least the install. The flares are too much work for the money recieved.

Bhays and I bought the rears and have realized that we would like the fronts to match. We are hoping Stan will help us out.

This is an old thread, so I can understand how it may have left you confused.

At the time I posted that paricular post, we were going to make a bunch of sets of the flares to anyone who wanted some. We did make some for those who wanted them.

After that, our shop got really busy, so we had to stop making them.

I hope all of you understand that we are a restoration shop, not a manufacturing facility.

Also a big factor for making these is cost. The demand is not great enough for me to source out a seperate manufacturer to make these for us.

As a result I have to pay one of my guys to make them. What this means is that at their hourly rate, by the time the flares are done, they are very expensive for me to make any profit on them, plus it takes one of my guys away from their regular work. The materials needed are also expensive since I dont have enough demand for these to buy materials in bulk.

I can definately tell you that these flares are superior to all others out there, as they are a much better starting point, ultimately resulting in a lot less finishing work to make them look right on a car. That is the sole reason we designed them. However, for me to commit a person to make these whenever someone wants them, they will be very expensive.

I have a bunch more material coming in the next couple of days, and am planning to help out those who have rears but are missing the fronts first, as they will never be able to get a set to match their rears.

After that, if someone wants a set, then we will discuss it.

Hope this ends the confusion.

This is an on going situation that I have been working on for a while ,and am tying to do the best I can with.

Believe me, I would love to have a seperate part of my shop just for making parts like these, but I would need the demand to be there first.
So far this has been a losing preposition on my end, even though it has resulted in a superior product for sure.

As far as reading this whole thread, please read it as product information. The latest updates are the ones to read for manufacturing info ,pricing and availability.
Thanks ,
Stan

To date these are the only two cars we have installed these on. Joe's car, and Snowmans' car. Joe's have the added material in the back. Snowmans' dont. The ones like Snowmans' are the ones that we are set up to make.

There are a couple of sets that we have sold floating around as well, making these pretty rare at this point I guess.
