Does the paint you use need to be heat resistant like an engine paint, or does the engine bay not get that hot? This may seem like a stupid question, but I know nothing about cars, I'm learning it all as I go.

The way I've worked with the paint in my engine bay is the closer I get to the motor and exhaust the higher temp resistant paint I use.
I've also used duplicolor paints and really like it. Eastwoods radiator paint is really great also.
