Hi,
Only 2 options.
I rarely see a car with fewer.

Alan

Well...not really an original factory option, but just as a matter of interest I do have duplicate factory seat and shoulder belts on my 68 convertible. Buying duplicate shoulder belts was expensive. Also, I have a 68 NOS soft plastic shoulder belt clip retainer that fits on the firewall behind and the middle of the seats (a la 67). I think there were only 35 68 Verts sold with shoulder belts.
PS: I wouldn't recommend adding 68 shoulder belts, they don't have retraction reels so the shoulder belts just lay in a pile in the storage compartment. Also, not having retraction reels, if you snug them up, then you can't lean forward to see out the outside rear mirror. Also, the 68 shoulder belts don't have a retainer clip on the seat back to keep them from shifting around. If you must have shoulder belts on a 68, go for the 69 shoulder and lap belts. I also have headrests on my 68, they and the seat back were from a 69. The headrests are re-done in molded vinyl.
..........
Those speed controller speedometers are expensive to buy. I've bid many times on ebay but just never won. If I could turn back the clock I'd buy an L88 with the speed controller speedometer. That'd be a real laugh.

Alan, I think you win the prize on this one.....that is really rare for so few options.................we just don't know what the prize will be yet..........Tom
PS....look at how much fun it was back in those days to order cars just the way that you wanted them, kind of puts you in the mindset of the person that ordered the vehicle, unless of course the dealer ordered one for the showroom, which was almost always loaded......

The only rare option that my plane jane '75 Coupe has is the paint color. Color code 42: Bright Green Metallic. Out of the 35,000 plus corvettes built that year, only 1,664 were painted bright green metallic. Its the second rarest color right behind Bright Blue Metallic at 1,268 cars. Only about 5% were painted the color that my car is.

YUP,
My car has a / UA6 Alarm System / only 388 cars were produced with that option, & it cost $26
Dont know why you would order that option in a convertible, but someone did !!!
I really dont think that it makes the car any more desireable.
I think the 427/400 HP motor is pretty rare as only 1932 cars both coupe & convert combined were made at an upgrade cost of $305 about 1000 cars less then the 427/435 variety. ( 2898 )
When you break down hard options like coupe & vert & auto vs 4spd it could very well have been 1 of less then 500 made. So out of a total production of 28566 i'd say those are some pretty rare numbers.
