Those Minilites look perfect on your vette. I didn't know they were making 18" rims.

Where did you find Minilites in those sizes, and what kind of selections are available?

Yes, Team III. I got the first set of 2 piece 18 LT's Scott made, pretty quick turn around on custom back spacing as well.

I saw those last night, their AC-III's look very nice as well. Mooser and I were talking about these wheels on Sunday and wondering what they would look like on our C3's. You definitely answered our question.

Oh, OK. Those have been on my radar, but I didn't realize or recall that's the ones you had gone with.

Very nice.

I went through this entire thread twice yesterday, and I believe that its:
F: 18x8's 245/45/18 4” backspace
R: 18x9.5's 285/40/18 5.5” backspace

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks!
Andrew

I would do 5" backspace on a 18x9.5".....I had 5.5" on my 18 x 10's

Just a question, has anyone on here tried 20's in the rear and 18's in the front? I've always been a fan of big rims, but don't want my '72 to look... well.... not sure what the PC term is for it.

I'm curious as to what it would look like:
20x8 rear 255/35 R20
18x8 front 255/35 R18

thats easy.....silly!!
Seriously though, the sidewalls need to be the same or bigger out back, and a 35 profile 18" tire is way too short.
You need to be looking at 45 at least in front and then caclulating what 20" tire will give you the same sidewall height or taller.

Billy,

For your 18/18 combo, how much did you end up lowering the front and rear?

IMHO if you dropped the front an inch or so it would look even better.

Sidebar: I might have asked you before, but what blue is that? IIRC that's almost the shade the Falken girls wear.
