That is cool what you have done! If I can get a set of 18 x 9,5's to work all around without flares or other mods (except for e-brake changes) I would be delighted.

PM sent as I need a bot more info.

I also like the idea of a 10" in the rear but will probably screw it up by trying to get a 3xx tire in there. Using the 9,5" rear I'd be inclined to stick to 295 at most.

Some nice setups guys.....you got me revisiting upgrading my 17"s I' ve had for the past 10 years or more.

I use bolt on spacers now, so I will try to find a 18" setup that will bolt on nicely to the current spacers. That way I can switch in a flash from street to auto-x setup.

Thanks for giving me this idea.

I wasn't prepared to like the idea of 18s on a C3, but some of those really look good.

I think it's all in the sidewall height, too little sidewall doesn't properly fill the wheel openings
and looks like crap many times.

Thanks 'vette427'. For the money I paid, they better look good. I am encouraged by your experience with 285's that these will work as is!

tektrans, you have one mean looking vette. What wheels, size, back spacing are you running?

After looking at so many beautiful vettes in this thread I have come to the conclusion that I need to win the lottery so that I can have 4 of those, 4 of those, oh and 4 of those.

I'm running the Vansteel offset rear trailing arms and no rear sway bar. I have the VBP Performance Plus suspension and it seems to handle fine without the sway bar. There is actually room to go wider under the flares, but 335's are expensive enough and the tire options get slim any wider than that.
