Default Something a little different

18" wheels are great and all, but how about some 17" wheels?

Vintage Wheel Works V48 17 x 9.5 up front with 275/40/17 NITTO NT05 4" backspacing

Vintage Wheel Works V48 17 x 11 out back with 315/35/17 NITTO NT05 3.75" backspacing

The car has stock trailing arms, VB&P Performance Plus suspension front & rear.

1.5" flares up front and 4" flares out back from Custom Image Corvettes.

Nice ride Curby... I am not big on flares, but I think you just won me over. That car is pure sex... luv the stance. I bet that is a looker on the street. (add some pics to your profile)

Do you think you could run a wider (285 or 295) rear tire and have adequate clearance?

the rear are 275/40ZR18...... Yes i could have gone the next width up, but I was worried about rubbing and I ordered the tires online, thus it would have been difficult to return if to big.... my next set will be the next width up in size..

that being said... on the track when i slide out, it is 100% neutral slide, the rear does not break loose any sooner or later than the front. so if i go into a slid, it is completely sideways, front or back stay inline..
