Well done for an ambitious rebuild. You have our respect! Also since you are USAF, thanks much. One suggestion while everything is apart, balance the rotors independently. The C-3's are sensitive to front end harmonics. I've done it to mine and it make a difference in chasing balance issues.

Going back out to install pass side rocker panel and I'll take pictures of the door on that side and post in a little while... While these gaps aren't perfect yet, I'll massage them a little more after the front clip is glued on and rock solid...
Thanks for looking and commenting...

What do you think your timetable looks like for paint?
Rogman
Thanks... I think the same thing all the time when looking at that yellow door... Figured as much as I was going to mess with it, I'd leave the paint on to keep my "Greasy" fingers off of the fiberglass... It's almost in the queue for Tass to strip... She's finishing the underneath of the vert hatch...
Paint time line: My goal is to have it sprayed before 1 June... Realistically, I "HAVE" to get paint on it before 1 August before I depart for D.C. I would "really" like to have everything completed (except for the interior) before I goto school... I can than gather pieces for the interior and knock that out during my Thanksgiving and Christmas vacations...

Spent every day after work adjusting and then re-adjusting doors hoods, frame extensions, shims, etc... Called Mike (tracdogg2) a couple of times for his advice, and he got me on track every time... The tornados that hit Texas earlier this week came "very close" to Mike and his family this week... Luckily, they made it through with only losing a few shingles here and there... Thanks for the advice and talking me through this Mike...
I ended up with different numbers of shims on my upper and lower door hinges on both sides, from where the factory had me... I can understand a slight difference on the driver's side as that's a new door... Mike told me that I am okay and that one top and two lower shims on the doors is normal... That's where I am on both sides...
After a couple of dry runs with the wife and mother-in-law, put the Lord Fusor 127EZ on the car and bonded the front clip... It's curing now, and will start full time body work tomorrow by working on the quarter panels as I let the Fusor cure...
Another change me and Mike came up with is to use slick sand primer on top of the body work first, block, and then use the slick sand as a lower guide, and then blast it with my K36... I am planning on the following:
Body work
Slick Sand w/Guide Coat
Block
2d Application of S.S. w/G.C.
Block
K-36 w/G.C.
Block
Ready for color... Here are some pictures right before I bonded the front clip today...

Follow your plan for all that blocking and it will turn out fantastic when you spray it.
Well done!
