Thank you Corvettenorway!! One ? in my experience w/ injector flow/pressure, I still think I'll need to go to the 80lb/hr injectors to get enough FLOW psi alone I don't think will do it? Or am I wrong? my VAST exprecince in injector-flow/pressure is on my Turbo Buick, that car [MANY,MANY!!!] modifications to it I found past a certain point I HAD to go to larger inj's [28lb stock to now 42-1/2lb] + an increase in fp.to get the correct a/f/ratio. I'm fairly well educated on tbi injectors, HOWEVER not to the level I DO have on the SFI system's. Any and all help WILL be greatly appreciated, on the tbi system. Thank You

Hey Lance, our cars will not require the PSI as your Buick will because of the TBI.

Al I do understand that, someone just said to go to that thread you commented on, and that would fix it, well thats just a fp regulator and mines already adjustable the stockers just ain't flow n enuff, I THINK.........w/ 80lb/hr injectors I can probably set the fp at or around 16-17psi w/ the 80lbers and be good!!!!gotta get mo' flow! That post however is a good one I think w/that one you won't need the special tool supplied by DCS. Those guy's stillthough! Thanks AL!! keep on N!!!!!BTW did I tell ya you got a pristine 82?????

I THINK?? the flow vs pressure applies to both tbi system's and SFI system........don't it? Or am I wrong on this??????hot rodded alot a cars HOWEVER before the T/Regal always carbed cars and now the Vette. So I'm still learning a lil bit on the tbi system, I would MUCH rather someone tell me something I know opposed to saying nothing!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Al!

The flow came from the fuel pump !! The pressure to injectors from the regulator !!! If the pump flow say "100" and the engine uses "50" 50 goes back to the fuel tank !! To hi pressure can blow the gasket in the regulator !!the flow can not !!

Thanks corvettenorway, I do understand that, thats why I THINK? I need bigger injectors [on my combination] to get mo' flow Some of your info I knew HOWEVER not ALL I VERY much appreciate ALL of your in-put and help Thank you again!! 55 an still learning!!![my engine,355cid, 440/454 cam, fully ported heads, 1.94/1.60 valves, fully PORTED by me Crossfire intake [WHEW!!] won't b porting another one of those!!], LW forged pistons, low friction rings, LW forged rods, stock crank, will have very soon 51mm tb's and I THINK? to maximize my engine 80lbs/hr injectors. Also will install 1/2" spacers under the tb's. 85 fuel pump that I THINK? will only need about 15-18psi max. w/ the 80lbers. Any in-put on this will be appreciated! I can't say thanks enuff!
