Nice to put an end to that chapter, freeing up thoughts and efforts for your present priorities.
I'll be waiting/watching patiently for any further work on your '68 project.
Good luck.
The house is sold/The new owner has the keys! We took a weekend trip to the Gulf Coast and saw this at IHOP.... it was "buffed and fluffed....(the camera angle distorted the chrome bumper)....

It was refreshing to see after the last few weeks of boxing up/moving.
Now I need to pull a RVZIO.....and find my boxes filled with body filler/electric sanders/fiberglass cloth so I can continue the rear chrome bumper conversion.....I'm glad I went into more detail than just labeling them "Garage Stuff"!

Maybe I could persuade my wife to go there......in the SSSSSScalade.....right now I'm trying to line-up a paint shop in case I finally get the rear bumper mod completed this month.
Everyone should see New Orleans....it's another world.....
just don't do it in June/July/August!!!!!!!!
I was in New Orleans right after Katrina. My team was detailed tdy to work alongside the NOL PD. Your pics look a lot better than what I remember. We slept in the lobby of the hotel because they wouldn't open up the rooms for anybody. No power, no water. No fun!

I think the local landfill looked better than downtown New Orleans that week!
As for my project......ANOTHER postponement.....my jaw surgery was rough last Friday---had to get stitches removed and pick up a new bottle of inflammatory meds to day. Will try again next week.

I'm still dealing with the PTSD daily/not making any progress.....but the good news is-------I'm not in reverse (I picked up that saying from another member)!
Never seen N'leans before. Now I can say I have! Good to see you found your thread and got some pics up. Now you don't need your jaw for moddin that Vette so let's get a move on it there! I did SOMETHING now it is your turn! LOL! Take care my friend.
