So sorry to hear of your Mother-in-Law's passing, Tony. Please let all of your friends on this forum help with your healing with all of our prayers. Lou.
Thanks Members........I'm just checking in/still "hanging in there". Things are just starting to settle down with the loss of mother-in-law.
The furniture movers will be arriving tomorrow to transfer our belongings to our new home south of Baton Rouge (across the Mississippi River from my in-law's home). We are definitely not emotionally ready, but we have to make the transition.
The Vette project will make the trip across the River after the new home is organized (and all the moving boxes are removed from the "Vette Mini-Shop-Garage").
Glad to hear you are hanging in there Tony. Though the pain n memories will linger, there will be some things you can look forward to, distract you some and give you new things to focus on that will help in the healing process. And there are the prayers of those in your "family" to uphold you as well.
I don't envy you having to move your project to a new home. At least yours is somewhat "finished; mine's in a thousand (or more) pieces! When I first started my restoration, I told my wife there'd be no "new" houses until it was back together again!

That was fast. I didnt expect to see the garage built yet. It takes me a year to finish projects like that!!!. My garage is still sided with plastic and dirt and plywood floors

I chickened out and decided not to build it myself/still too sad from the events of the last 10 months.
It is a pre-fab building......but I still get the thrill of insulating/wiring/peg-boarding the walls/adding A/C.......and removing the shipping/skid-beams from underneath it so it can be bolted to the slab.......
