The air compressor is compressing...but the grit-blaster is sketchy/the sand has been sitting for a year and is moist enough ti grow earthworms!
So I filtered the sand and wasted some time blasting a few things to circulate the sand......
Next...everything went to the fire pit paint booth..........
I'll put the sand on my wife's cookie sheet...dry it in the oven psssst...it's a secret!
annnnd put a heat lamp in the blasting cabinet to fight the Loo-z-anna moisture.
Those log exhaust manifolds will make good garage art
More rusty parts hanging on the pegboard that needed blasting and a few coats of Blackness.....the "heated paint booth" works perfectly...no flying bugs until May.......
I wanted to see if the head was rebuildable....it looks like steam-cleaning. fresh paint, new seals and lap the valves to the seats will have this head usable again.
Nasty......
Lapppppped........

they are double hump no accessory hole heads. but still stock chebby heads. not enough better than what are on your car now to bother with. but to somebody they are gold! get castng numbers and date codes and get them listed in the age-apropriate section. i think they are 63 to 67 heads.

Thanks Derek...I told my friend I would give them back to him if I could'nt use them
you can use them. you can also get good money for them from the guy who wants them for his numbers-correct nova-camaro-vette. then give him the dinero. i don't think he has a use for the heads or he wouldn't have given them away. what are the casting numbers, date codes and intake valve size?

I'm going to the garage in 30...I'll clean the numbers so you can read them and measure the valve diameters
The alternator is the only thing I need to deal with. If my bucket of brackets doesn't have what I need....
the metal collection and the mig welder will do the job.
I've been in the Vette garage hauling more stuff to the room I added on for the riding mower.
By Monday I should be able to roll the Harley in the garage where I can finish rewiring it.
SUNDAY: Taking the day off...I pushed the 2nd spine surgery a little too far this week
