Congratulations on your growing family! I am very happy for you.
Thanks NAVY!
I had an OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPS moment lately. I dropped the deck lid off the saw horses it was resting on.....wiped out most of one edge and chipped another area
Instead of building it up with body filler I used fiberglass matt.
Now.....out to the garage (and glue some rubber grip strips on the saw horses)
Hey, no rain! Keep it up Tony as long as you feel okay.

Hey R......The spine pain is manageable....the PTSD is "laying low". I might bring it to the painter Monday/I want to test-fit the rear bumpers again (tomorrow is supposed to be a rainy day)....but at least it will be there
I'd rather take the day off but bolting down the deck lid hinges and the bumpers might be easy on my back.
The driveway drops 1/2" to the driver's side at the rear wheels....the car sits within 1/8" of being level at the rear wheel arches. I noted the edge of the bubble touching the right-side line and leveled the two bumpers the same way. The corners will get the final adjustment after the car is painted.
The 3/16" gap spacers are still taped in place for hinge alignment.
The deck lid hinges lined up with the mounting holes but I had to add a 1/8" shim to the driver-side hinge to level the lid with the deck......
44" to the rear wall/I should have headroom to bolt the hinges in place which will be better than raising/lowering the lid multiple times to get the gap equal on each edge...................
I fit!
Shimming and bolting hinges.................................. .......
I also replaced the body bolts (ooops--forgot the kick panel body bolts).

It's nice and roomy since I removed the gas tank and moved the rear wall also. I may spend the night
Tomorrow I need to install the #2 body bolts and recheck everything just to be sure.....then remove the rear bumpers and side pipes for paint.
CAN SOMEONE POST A PIC LOOKING DOWN AT THE TOP OF THE DOOR AND THE DECK LID WHERE THEY MEET.....I NEED TO SEE HOW MUCH OF THE DOOR "TAB" I NEED TO REMOVE TO MAKE IT FIT CORRECTLY?
THANKS
EDIT: Never mind......Lowbuck's conversion thread bailed me out.....the thread that keeps on giving....................
