the ram's horn may flow no better, but it is a corvette part, not an impala part. they show up 25 bucks each on occasion. shop FB market for used headers too. BUT; your current manifolds. they fit your pipes. they are hooked up. they are not a detail to mess with now. chevy marine heads are 350 heads. nothing different. as long as they aren't 305 heads they are allowed to stay. you sure on that head gasket thickness? even 20 buck 041 thick felpros are an improvement on them. 029 composition can be found. but steel shims like a fresh finish to some number you ain't getting close to with scotchbrite.
thanks derek.

WHAT, Tony, Say What???
I don't blame you, I sold my last Harley and Ducati several years ago and haven't really missed riding one bit.
It just wasn't the same as it once was.
As I get older, the need for speed and power becomes less of a priority. If it ain't broken, why fix it. I have long tube headers, but only because they were a deal at the time and I had no exhaust system. I still have 5 bikes, 3 little Hondas, a 250 Yamaha V twin, and my '89 carbureted Evo with 115,000 miles. I rarely ride it, but when I do, between the power, the sound, the waves, and the scraping of the floorboards, I can't part with it. As long as I have the strength to move it and pull in the clutch lever, it's a keeper. Besides, I have a drawer full of those black t-shirts.
The manifold exhaust ports are 1.312" square ports.
The heads have straight spark plugs.
The only reason Im looking at new manifolds is.....
the driver manifold is designed with the exhaust downpipe outlet MIDWAY.......
the passenger manifold is designed with a 45 degree downward REAR outlet which causes the downpipe to be very close to the firewall.
IF I buy a passenger exhaust manifold-only to match the driver manifold the connector downpipes to both sidepipes will be identical.
The starter will then have a few inches of clearance from the downpipe....alot less heat soak.
Just trying to eli inate future problems while im at it.
car-part.com a bunch all over the country for 50 bucks. the shovel. my ex from 30 years ago is crazy horse custom paint. she knows most of the serious biker community all over the world. right near DUB just outside of Charlotte NC. i am sure she could connect you with a buyer or 15... https://www.crazyhorsepainting.com/index.shtml and she gave me no credit for teaching her how to ride and paint.

Thanks derekderekderekderek....I jumped the gun and bought the exhaust manifolds....the block hugger headers fit too close to the bock a d the starter for my li(c)king
a set of high quality CHEAP ram horns so the downpipes would be identical on both heads all the way to the sidepipes.
Whats a good brand of exhaust manifold paint since the are raw cast iron?????
Dupli-Color, VHT, John Deere 'Blitz' black, and Seymour 'Cast Blast' cast iron (500*F & 2000*F for exhaust manifolds).????

DG, I used Eastwood High Temp Coating in Factory Gray color on my new exhaust manifolds. Gave them a thorough de-greasing with brake cleaner and applied one thorough coat to them with a brush. That was 5 years ago and the manifolds still look great. I'd expect at least another 5 years before they'll need refinishing. The coating covers very well and dries overnight to a nice flat gray. The coating then cures the first time the engine is started. Let it run for at least 15 minutes(do it outside because it will stink up your garage quickly) and it's done. It's pricey at about about $45 per pint but one can will do probably 6 manifolds.
