the overpriced ebay valance has good pics of how the lamps mounted to the body. could be fabbed. a piece of angle alum with the mount hole drilled in it. VPA it to the back side of the fresh cut holes. it would be nice to find pre-made fiberglass angle "iron" but my vote is https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-L...IAAOSwaENdrzIN

Blast from the past...…here are some pics so other members/visitors will know what you guys are talking about.... "A deck lid bonded to the rear clip so it appears not to exist!"

Wow.....I did a hatchet job removing the bondo from the deck lid-to-body gap!

OR…...at least a heat gun job

I need to do more wiring on the Harley this afternoon since I have the Vette tail lights working correctly...….

I found another hour and roughed in the marker light...I didn't like the way it was inset and since the previous owner fiberglass over the original marker I made the new marker fit flush with the quarterpanel

I still need to adjust the front edge of the bumper Up 1/2".

Amazing progress, just spent the afternoon catching up on your journey after arriving home from our winter residence. Pick mine up from storage on Friday. Continued success brother, all the best to you and the family.

Hey Tony, I had to do a double take, the red of your lights makes the paint look like its a candy apple red and I though it was someone else postin a pic!!!!! Ya know I never notice that the bumper is off a 1/2 inch until you mention it, then I still cant tell its off...looks great as usual!!!!

I couldn't get a clear pic of the marker light. I did more wiring on the Harley and then jumped over to the Vette. About an hour later I had the passenger rear marker light roughed in (I cheated and superglued the fiberglass pocket to the inside of the quarter panel). When I'm satisfied with the position of the marker light I will fiberglass the pockets to the inner q-panels...….
