We are all busy this time of the year.
Mrs. Claus has me checking the list twice again this year which leaves me no time to work on the Corvette.
I don’t trust the elf’s to do the quality of work I expect from myself and they are always on a hot cocoa break.
ho ho ho humbug
The elves are good at finding misplaced parts and pieces while I'm hanging Christmas decorations...
then hanging them on the pegboard where I can find them!.
It's time for some fitting on the passenger side.....level at the 2" x 4"....CHECK!
LeveL, at the headlites....CHECK!
(When I first bought the car I didn't realize the driver side fender crest was 1" lower than the passenger fender crest...I have to keep an eye on it/correct it as I fit everything. Also the center of the nose was offset to the driver side by 1" )
I DO have a 1&1/2" gap to fill in on the top of the driver fender (had to cut it off to prevent back surgery)
I need to stretch a string from the firewall to the center of the nose to keep everything square/parallel.
1&3/4" space between fender arch and the wheel front and back....CHECK!
SCAREY,,,,,HUH?!
The overbite on the passenger fender shows the massaging that needs to be done to get the contour on the fender the same as the other fender.......
I think I may have knocked down that PTSD Wall this time.

Thanks for the back-pat.
IF the PTSD holds off long enough I may have it assembled and the hood fitted, too. m The hood is already painted but needs 8 years of dust and overspray buffed off it.

Thanks a bunch, Guys. I'm going stretch the centering string from the firewall to the V on the nose/take some measurements left and right from the frame to make sure the tip of the nose doesnt shift while I fab some pads for thr verical supports I made months agp...the supports/pads will bolt to the headlight bar and lower frame crossmember. then I can finish the contour of the fender extension where it meets the front of the door.
That's the plan for today.

Change of plans I forgot the garage has a 1.5” slope left side to right side
All my measurements are no good so I put a 1.5” block under the front wheel to level the frame
Gotta gone now.
I'm back (Monday morning)....
The top small sectiom of angle iron has been drilled and bolted to the headlite support bar......
I need to reove some shims from one support brace to get the headlite bar level (was in to much of a hurry)
