Just don't refer to Factory Five cars as "kit cars" as you will be set straight.
What you get is a custom made complete car that you assemble, everything is included, down to the ty wraps, minus the drive train, wheels, tires and paint.
Motor mounts, trans mount, steering and everything is set up for you and there are three different rear suspension packages to choose from.
They do have awesome engine, transmission, rear end and wheel/tire combinations they will include in your order, at additional cost of course.
Unless you do something totally custom you can get the chassis powder coated and be certain that everything bolts in without fitment issues or modifications.
The nicest part was that every part was, new, clean and ready for assembly right out of the box.
See, I'm sold and thinking about selling off my 73 and purchasing another Factory Five.
Thanks a lot.
Here are a couple pics of the chassis for my 33 when I just set up the front and rear suspension. Chrome not included.

That looks great! I've been on those forums in the past for the FF cars, I've already decided if I do another car it will be one of those...they have a new front engine car coming too next year, can't wait to see that!

For "CAD Wednesdays" I made a throttle cable bracket to go onto the new Fitech intake that will be now going onto the car.
I made a last minute decision to switch over because Summit ran a pretty good discount on the whole system, and by the time I bought my own injectors, 3 bar map and one of their stand alone ECM, I was going to be at the same cost for those items, not factoring what I bought the LS6 intake couple years ago...

Cool.
It must be nice to have a shop, tools and other equipment.

Spent some time in CAD designing coil brackets, especially on the turbo side to make them fit and clear my turbo brackets and position them in order to not fry the plug wires

This morning, while drinking first cup of coffee in one hand... this happened....just need a coat of paint and some hardware
All done...got lucky with the wiper door canister, had forgot about it, didn't account for it at all, and it clears the coil by 1/8th...I'll probably go to elec conversion anyhow but it's nice to know it does clear...

Some quick update on the build:
Fuel system is done, and connected
Wiring is 90%, some grounds to finish and mounting the Fitech fues box still needs to be done. Power cable has been run and terminated, need a ground cable. Picking up a battery in the morning.
Took rear end out, so I could spray some under coat on the chassis and underside panels for good measure.
Fully installed rear end, even re-painted it (went black this time, didn't have matching gray anymore), torqued third member and 4 link has been set (omit for pinion angle as I need a driveshaft to do that.
Rear end brake lines are all done, connected and torqued down to the main line (still need to do the front brakes rubber lines and the front cross over line, then we can bleed brakes)
We might have power one soon at this rate (as in elec power on)
Added a gusset to the pan-hard bracket for good measure
new coat of black...and if you're wondering, it's only about 36" wide from flange to flange
it's in!! for good now

Got the upper radiator hose figured out: I used an upper 69 camaro SBC hose that I had and bought a new C6 upper corvette hose. I'm using a coupler to also host my temp sensor for the gauge (since the head sensor is used by the EFI and I had no room to run one on the pass side due to turbo brackets being in the way)
Still have to figure out the lower hose.
a shot of the battery bracket finished and installed:

Is that the G-FORCE crossmember?
If so, how do you like it and how was the installation?
