Got A Thumbs Down Today ???
Took the C3 out under the bright sunshine. Shades on. Beer Nuts cap spun around backwards. T-Tops off. Car is washed and looks nice. Went past a Chevy pickup that was waiting to make a left turn and the passenger (Young dude) gave me the big thumbs down (Arm fully extended out the window)
I was perplexed, and a little shook to be honest. lol. He must have been one of those hopped up 99 Dodge Neon guys. Or just a run of the mill idiot. 45 minutes later I got the nod from a rich guy in a pretty red C7. It's all good!

I really believe when a person disses something the reason is they are jealous plain and simple, I realize that some people in this case might not like a vette but that doesn't mean they have to be a flaming d-bag about it,
To make a conscience decision to go to an extra effort to give you a thumbs down tells me besides being all butt hurt jealous he is all upside backwards in what should be important to him a basic angry bitter looser.

Oh geez, in my hast to reply I missed that the passenger did this...too funny...who is always the most critical big mouth know it all jack *** d-bag at any show or cruise?.....the fellow who rode there in his buddies mini van or other POS...nuff said.

Like I tell my customers...."If being in your Corvette is a part of your day that allows you to escape and relax and a form of therapy...then GREAT....and any money you invest into it is the best money spent." If people can not grasp it...they have a lot to learn.

He said he had his beer nuts cap spun around backwards, i almost peep my pants laughing, lmao hahahaha, maybe hes not a big fan of beer nuts ? Anyways anybody who doesnt like a corvette to the point of a thumbs down is an extreme minority and would of replied with the bird up . My c6 is a constant thumbs up and conversation peice but they want to look at every detail on it sometimes getting gas takes 15 -20 minutes better than someone saying wow a crap box i guess

I can relate to your situation, as I had a similar experience two weeks ago when some 20-year old driving his moms Camry screams "Corvettes Suck" as I was making a turn. Good Gawd! What is going on with society? What would possess a person to go out of their way to tell someone they don't like your car, or house, dog, etc. I mean, why the extra effort to be a d*ck?!?! I don't give a &€£¥%# what a person may think about my car, as I didn't buy it to please anyone but myself.

A thumbs down, "Corvettes suck", etc. are a cowardice/jealous act.
I seriously doubt these childish people would have the back bone to say/do these things if you both were standing outside next to your parked car.
Not worthy of your consideration/anxiety/time.
Unfortunately an ever increasing portion of todays society, do not understand or practice the human courtesy of respect.
