Rhetorical? Unleaded is your only choice for pump gas.

Yep..I use the ethanol free EO 93 octane in my '78..but while it's better than ethanol polluted gas for carburated engines..it's still unleaded..Jim

Sure. All GM cars made after 1970 specified the use of unleaded fuel. (They were capable of being run on unleaded before that model year, but didn't "claim" it until 1971.)

All engines with 9.0 and lower compression ratio will run on 'regular' fuel. Cars with 9.5:1 C.R. engines will do well on 'mid-grade'; and 10:0 to 10.5 engines can run fine with unleaded 'premium'.

Well, pump gas has been unleaded since when, early to mid 70's? If they couldn't run on it, I think we would've found out by now.

Exactly! If you want the car for "power", go with the '70...but it will cost more to get it. If you want the car for the styling, and the 'normal driving' fun factor, go for the '71 or '72. Easier on the pocket book when you buy it and thereafter!!

Re-read what he said. He's spot on. Were you looking for charts and graphs? You have the option to Google your question and go back to your own forum where your insult might fit in better.

Please keep on posting whatever you want on the politic section and leave us alone.
Stupid questions will bring stupid answers, no matter what.
Now if you just can't take spirited (not even mean or hash, just witty) answer just google "how to grow a skin", you might get some answers.
