Just think what they could've accomplished if they'd focused all that effort on something worthwhile....like restoring a corvette! Instead, they succumb to the darkside.

Great movie! A cross country race with Carradine and a pre-Rocky Sly Stallone, running down pedestrians for bonus points, what's not to love!!!
There was a "remake" that wasn't really a remake, I know I saw it but don't really remember it, wasn't too impressed. Younger viewers would probably feel just the opposite.
