I am replacing my t-top weatherstripping and would like to repaint the bottom side of the t-top while I am at it. What spay can paint should I use to get as close to the original black paint as possible. I don't think the Krylon semi-gloss is still available so I was thinking john deere blitz black. Any thoughts.

I would use an interior paint if you are referring to the headliner. The SEM brand sold at auto paint supply stores works well. Not sure of the specific black to use.
Hi gr8,
The original Krylon #1613 is still available but has become more difficult to find in some areas of the country.
Blitz black is also a good choice.
Regards,
Alan

This is in regard to the fiberglass t-top itself not the vinyl trim

I trust your judgement Alan if they turn out half as nice as yours I would be satisfied. I am not able to find the krylon paint locally so blitz black it is.
John-Deere sells the Blitz black spray paint. Almost an exact match for the Krylon panit (which is harder to get). Buy at any J-D sales or parts store.
Old formula Krylon is now considered an industrial coating as opposed to paint. If you have an industrial coatings outlet in your area, they should be able to get the Krylon.
Hi gr8,
Often it's the LITTLE details that add up to make a nice job.

Your tops look great Alan I've always admired the quality of your work that must be one very nice vette you have. This will be my weekend project hope they turn out as nice as yours.

I finished passenger side yesterday will complete drivers side today. I used the JD blitz black paint as Alan suggested and am very happy with the results.
