Looks great topside and interior, but mechanicals look poorly maintained, bushes are worn, doesn't look great underneath. Lots of spaghetti and cableties in engine bay. I wouldn't be buying it as a daily unless you're willing to spend time and money getting it up to scratch first.
...There is a reason small children choose the vette when they are picking out their first toy cars at the store. They don’t why, they just have to have it...
Why make a statement like that in a listing for a Corvette?
Hi M,
If in fact you're going to buy this car for daily use are you concerned about the viability of the 'molded' front and rear bumpers in 'normal' parking situations?

Alan
The car didnt look that bad to me, but i sure do not see 17k of 74,
Then the ad, just fluff, nothing much at all about the car, so being im pretty jaded on such things i write off the lot as full of bs, perhaps not fair but its the feel i get....sorry.
17k buys a lot of 74 to 82 and a fair amout of 68 to 72

That is a realistic concern, would a chrome bumper be a better option then? This one attracted me mainly due to the newer radio and mirrors.
While I have used my C3 as a daily driver in the past, and I'm sure others have or still do, I wouldn't not recommend buying a C3 for DD duty. Newer cars are just more reliable and nicer to drive with better creature comforts. Save the C3 for the occasional nice day, perfect weather Fridays and such.
Hi M,
In my mind the issue with the body on this car is that the original front and rear bumpers have been molded into the rest of the body to give a 'seamless' appearance.
While this gives a nice 'smooth' look, even a gentle parking lot 'tap' will certainly mar the paint and perhaps damage the bumpers.
I don't know very much about Corvettes after 72 so I'm not sure if on this car the original rubber bumpers can be/have been molded in, or if aftermarket fiberglass 'caps' have been installed in place of the rubber bumpers, and then molded in.
Cars without bumpers are fine if the car is basically a 'toy', but everyday cars generally have even a minimum degree of bumper protection.
The 68-72 cars have steel bumpers but really don't offer much protection either.
Not being a smart ***…. the radio and mirrors should be just a tiny part of why you're interested in a car.

Alan
somebody changed the engine plate on the interior console to match a 1970 LT-1
the view of the choke coil shows an uncapped port on the side of the carburetor, should have fresh filtered air coming in for choke coil.
rear springs bolts are adjusted differently and may be too long
