They're from a 76 Monza. You wanna talk about something hard to find, I searched high and low for them. Joined random FB groups, searched everywhere. Eventually found someone from Canada on eBay selling Monza stuff, so on a hope and prayer, I sent him a message asking if he had the bezels and the fiberglass mounting buckets. They weren't the cheapest thing in the world, especially being made out of plastic.
Speaking of headlight bezels, I've been struggling with what to do with them and the little orange triangles that are supposed to be between them and the edge of the fender. You can kinda see in the previous pics, the driver side has almost no space between the bezel and the edge of the fender, while the passenger side does have space. It's just the nature of the beast when dealing with hand laid custom fiberglass.
I'm thinking about just centering both bezels in the nose, and dropping the small orange triangles all together. If not, I'll have to somehow cut and stretch the opening on the driver side to make room for the triangle. I'm really not feeling that, so I'm thinking option A is the way to go.

Any ideas?
option A is my vote. Most people wouldn't even realize they are missing
Remember, its just fibreglas and you can cut it move easily, it's more work, yes ... all you have to do is decide if " the juice is worth ...". If its me, well I'm going for it just for the authenticity, cause if'n you don't, the Corvette Summer Purists will just roast you!! LOL

Most of the time, I love pissing off purists (of any brand). The only exception is my 70 and 77 TA, which are both undergoing rotisserie restos and will be 100% correct.
Since this car won't be rhd, and the interior will be far more pimpin than the movie car, I'm leaning towards just centering the bezels and leaving it.
Here's some better pics of the firewall. Its shaping up pretty nice. I'm building a inner brace for the underside of the hood so it'll keep it's shape. Right now the sides behind the front wheels like to bow outward, but the brace should fix that, plus it'll have location pins that'll help the hood tie into the fixed lower fenders when the hood is closed.
Since the site decided to smarten up, here's what the car currently looks like. The windshield frame looks pretty good. The very top of the frame, near the sun visor mounts have a little rust, but nothing that can't be fixed easily.
