Default Voluptuousness..

Anyone have a front clip?
Kidding, I have one, but...

The dark one (maroon) is a 76, the orange one is a ducktailed 73.

I am NOT doing the 76.

Has anyone grafted a ducktail onto a post 74?

What is this thing?? Was laying on the ground after I got the clip off the 76, on the drivers side.

What happens with that contour i took the comparison picks of? Is the peak lower on the post 74 or is the valley lower on the ducktail coupes?

So THAT'S what that key is for!

This one has had the fender replaced, no key or key hole.

Default Decisions

Both of these bodies have their pluses and minuses condition wise, so I'm going with the 73 to avoid grafting because it looks like I have to go the rear edge of the doors on the graft to get all of the curves of the ducktail...and it also has a more or less intact front clip.

Lots of work ahead regardless.

I have two, one is a 73, the other is a 76..the windshield frames are both less than perfect. I will use the best of both.

I'll make a good car our of both.

Prolly wont happen but I have been entertaining the idea of turning the remains into a Gasser.

if you save one, you and the total number of vettes in this world are on the win side. this guy just picked up a pretty nice 69 with a very bad windshield frame. i thought you and he could talk. if your 73 isn't that bad, you probly don't need parts from the other one's windshield frame. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...uestion-3.html

Neither of mine are that bad on the surrounds, but plenty of other issues..bird cage sill is bad on the 73, nearly mint on the 76, upper corners are VERY good on the 73, swiss cheese on the 76, excellent uncracked floor on the 73, Flinstonemobile on the 76. 73 has a LOT of raw glass exposed from missing paint, 76 looks really good from the front of the doors to the rear bumper.

But it's a dump butt. Hate it
