Got it blocked out, and hit it with 3 more coats of high build primer. The car looks pretty damn straight. Got a few small things to touch up, but that's it for the high build.
I wet sanded the car down today in 400 grit. It's smooth as glass now. Fixed a few small pinholes I found and spot primed them. Hoping to get color on it this weekend!
Looks good! What do you have for an engine in there?
It's a 6.0 LS. Has a 228/230 cam, sheet metal intake with a 102mm throttle body, long tubes, and a TH350 with a 3200rpm stall. I have the same drivetrain in another car and it's pretty stout for what it is.

While I'm letting the paint harden up, I took the time to buff and repaint the original emblems. They look a million times better.
I'm toying with the idea of going with flags on the front, rather than the huge 25th anniversary emblem. What do you guys think? I held up one of the fender flags, and I think it looked sweet.
I'll be wet sanding this weekend. While I was waiting I polished and repainted the original emblems. They look pretty good.
I'm toying with the idea of replacing the front nose emblem with flags from an earlier car. The round 25th emblem is huge looking, and kinda hurts the sleek lines of the car. I dunno though, I'd probably never hear the end of it at car shows from Vette guys.
If God knows anything about Harley Davidson’s I may never make it into heaven,.
I painted my 100 year anniversary Harley Fat Boy all black.
Nobody ever said a word.
