It's a heck of a project.
That spot caliper isn't Mechanical though, it's Hydrolic, is that what you meant to use?
I don't think Wilwood ( or anyone) makes a mechanical spot caliper...

hmm...didn't notice that, it's a new design..I can't find the old one..it was definitely mechanical...let me search....

Looking good! Makes my C4 suspension project look simple in comparison. The parking brake info just might come in handy too. For a variety of fitment reasons I'm having to delete the wheel-located parking brake system. I just might entertain the pinion area caliper idea. Thanks. Keep us updated on the progress.

I actually kind of fit in there....it's cramped but nothing a little roll bar padding won't fix.

MRVette, actually I was seconding your comments regarding Marck's project, my project did not take much from me but a credit line. I respect an awful lot of guys on here who have put their hearts into these projects, particularly those who are turning their own wrenches. There are a lot of drop dead gorgeous C3 on here I would LOVE to have

Can you give some history on this project? Did you originally set out to build a race car or did it grow out of the usual standard modifications?
