He's related previously that the shops near his location in Norway aren't as "user friendly" (my words) as we're used to here in the states. Bummer, eh?

Ok, now I see, I was going to say I thought that was a great price for the machining and the align bore. Of course he was getting paid for a total rebuild as well. I guess guys over there probably don't do as many rebuilds of U.S. engines.

Then again, it's just as likely I'm not familiar enough with how Edelbrock arrives at their advertised numbers to know how they relate. If more lobe profile info was given in the catalog (knowing duration at .200" would be nice) a better idea could be had.

Perhaps there's someone on the forum has experience with this particular stick, and they would be able to relate how it compares better than I can. You may want to do a search, or start another thread to find out.

btw... remember that with high lift and big duration, you've got to pay particular attention to valve/piston clearance, too
i will post a tread, and hear if someone have used that cam, and have experience with it.

I think you will be more then fine with the 2 bolt mains and studs. Its not like you will be driving at top RPM's all the time anyway. Have you tried calling Edelbock themselves, if anyone knows how their kit holds up to a 2 bolt main it should be them.
