Ok, looks like i have oil leaking onto my exhaust manifold at 8 and 7. I did a Gunk High Mileage Engine cleaner oil treatment and I'm running Royal Purple now, so I'm expecting to see some slow oil leaks.

As for the headlights I checked the vacuum house coming off the top of the intake and it had become separated in the middle, hooked everything back but the headlights are still up. I imagine I now have air in the lines, whats the best method for bleeding them out?

And looking at the trim tag, looks like the car was flame orange which is great because its needs a repaint and i can get down with orange. I don't know what the 652 and B27 stand for, the site I'm looking doesn't have anything for those codes.

Where smoke was coming from on the top of the exhaust manifold at cylinder 8

The vacuum line

T in the vacuum line, the hose coming from the intake had become disconnected from the T

Where was smoking from above cylinder 7

All the hoses by the headlights

Driver fender tag

What is that puller for at the bottom of the dash by the vent? its goes in and out and feels like it has 3 notches, all the way in, middle, and out

Again thank you for all the help

Here's a website with a lot of 75 info: http://www.vettefacts.com/C3/1975.aspx

Your Tag: 652 is medium Saddle, Leather (*includes leather seat covers, special cut-pile carpeting, door trim panels with simulated wood-grained accents and lower carpeting, and console with simulated wood grained accents. Price: $154.00)

70L is Orange Flame paint.

The pull **** should be for opening/closing the vents on a non a/c car.

As for the oil leak from the valve covers: Replace the gaskets. Easy & cheap!

Oh.. your missing the trim piece that goes on your headlight ****.

Where can i find the tag for the rest of my options? My car does have an air conditioner in it and all the selectors for it in the center console.

No need for "bleeding" vacuum lines. When the engine is running it will pull a vacuum through those lines. You obviously have some sort of leak with the headlights staying up. Start down at those lines and double check all of them up to the firewall.

Looking at your first pictures, you are missing a mixture screw like someone said earlier. The bent screwdriver looks like it is there to adjust the screw on that side, but you should have another one on the other side. You can tune it all you want but with a vacuum leak that big it will never run great. Maybe someone around you has one or an aftermarket one that can get you by. You also need to check the fuel filter (in carb). Im assuming it has been removed. Also I need to check to make sure its all there, but I have an extra 75 carb that I could part with that got me by a couple years ago if you're still having trouble.

Ok, the headlights were working fine until i messed my timing up. Its weird because as soon as the car refired after getting the engine back to tdc the headlights came up. I looked at all the hoses going towards the headlights and they all looked good. I did nothing to the carb so far, I'm slowly leaking oil but not enough to make me think it could be the cause.
