I am glad you got it cranked.
My previous post was dealing with if you are using a timing light to set the timing.
SO...if you set the timing and it seems to not be RIGHT...I would not be surprised that the outer ring of the harmonic balancer has spun a bit...making the notch NOT in the correct position to set timing correctly.
