Dub, he wants to mount the VIR directly in front of the evaporator (think chevy truck) instead of the standard corvette location.
It could be done if you found an evaporator that would fit inside the housing but plumbing it would be a challenge. You would be better off converting it to a 78-82 accumulator system.

Thanks for the explanation. I am worthless on this thread due to I do not mess with Chevy trucks...other than my own. And without photos to aid us in the vision of what they want to do...that really makes me not have anything to offer....because it has been stated about the VIR Eliminator.

wanted to see if the vir. In y 73 could be relocated to up top vs buried in the bowels of the engine compartment . Guess two options of vir eliminate kit otherwise later model AC acculatoe model. Thx for input.
